My day at the University of Mysore was an exciting and fulfilling experience, as I had the opportunity to share my expertise in drone flying and industry training with media and journalism students.
Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the faculty and students, who were eager to learn from my experience and knowledge. After introducing myself and giving an overview of the day's activities, I began with an engaging lecture on the basics of drone flying, including safety regulations, equipment handling, and flight techniques.
Next, I led the group outside for a hands-on training session, where students were able to practice flying the drones themselves under experts guidance. They learned how to maneuver the drones and capture aerial footage using a variety of techniques and camera angles.
Throughout the day, I also shared my industry experience, providing valuable insights into the use of drones in the media and journalism industry. I discussed the different types of drones used for aerial photography and videography, as well as the various applications for drone technology in the industry.
The students were eager to learn from my experience, and they appreciated the opportunity to gain hands-on training and insights into the drone industry. By the end of the day, I had provided a valuable learning experience for the students and had shared my passion for drone flying and the media industry.
Thanks to Srinath Urs and Professor Sapna for inviting me to conduct this for the 1st & 2nd Year students from the Dept of Journalism and Mass Communications, Mysore University.
